In French, fleur-de-lys means "lily flower." Decorative ornaments that resemble the fleur-de-lys have appeared in artwork from the earliest human civilizations. It has consistently been used as a royal emblem, though different cultures have interpreted its meaning in various ways.

A beautiful diamond fleur-de-lys pendant from the Edwardian (ca1900s) era! This lovely piece is made of 18kt yellow gold and topped in platinum.  The delicate and feminine fleur-de-lys is encrusted with 30 Old Brilliant Cut diamonds, beautifully catching the light with their H-J, SI-I range clarity! Perfect for everyday wear, it would look wonderful hung on a simple gold chain or worn as a charm on a bracelet by its simple rosy yellow gold bail. This stunning Victorian fleur-de-lys design merges seamlessly into modern-day fashion and would make a very special addition to any jewelry collection!

Measurements: The pendant is approximately 15/16" tall, excluding the bail, measures 5/8" wide, and is slightly more than 1/8" thick.

Condition: The pendant is in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to any of the diamond stones, all of which are intact. The bail is secure and in good working condition.
