A fabulous and unique brass and glass cross necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in brass, this wonderful piece features a faceted glass crystal cross which hangs from a fancy link chain. The cross itself is particularly large in size and features five oval-shaped crystals representing each arm (two at the extended bottom) and a smaller crystal at the center. The cross hangs from a matching bail adorned with a final glass stone and ornate spun brass wirework embellishes the piece throughout. The pendant attaches to an ornate brass chain with a clover design on each link and secures at a spring ring clasp in the back. Its a wonderful necklace and a gorgeous example of the beauty of brass and glass jewelry!
Measurements: The pendant measures 2 1/2" inches long (including the bail) and 1 1/4" wide. The chain is 18.25" long and 3mm wide.
Condition: The pendant necklace is in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the brass setting. The chain and its spring ring are secure and in good working condition.
