Art Deco Long 14kt Jade + Moonstone Bead Necklace 50.5"
A gorgeous jade and moonstone bead necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This stunning and relatively long piece is comprised of an alternating pattern of incredible jade and moonstone beads. The similarly sized jade beads display magnificent coloring, exhibiting a vivid green color marbled with translucent pale green and milky white hues. The smaller moonstone beads vary slightly in size, displaying a translucent pale blue color with an iridescent flash. The smoothly polished beads are hand strung on white thread, and resting in between each bead is a 14kt yellow gold spacer. Together, the combination of jade and moonstones create a gorgeous eye-catching design. A lobster clasp fastens the necklace together, however thanks to its generous length, it can be worn long or doubled up, providing wonderful versatility. A stunning piece, it would make a perfect everyday accessory and make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 50.5" long. The jade beads measure approximately 11mm in diameter and the moonstones, on average, measure 6mm in diameter.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, jade, or moonstone beads. The stringing is secure and the clasp is in good working order.
