Art Nouveau 14kt Diamond, Pearl, Natural Turquoise Lavalier Pendant
An elegant turquoise lavalier pendant from the Art Nouveau (ca1910) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, this delicate piece has a wonderful curved design beautifully reflecting the Art Nouveau period. The pendant begins with a open bow-like surmount which has a single diamond prong set in the center. Lining the curved top part of the bow are six natural seed pearls, three on each side, and two gold flowers rest on the inside of the loops, both set at the ends of a gold bar. The pendant hangs from a complimentary gold bail and dangling from the bottom is an elongated teardrop natural turquoise stone. The top of the bail is stamped "14K.". The combination of the lustrous pearls, sparkling diamond and vibrant turquoise is absolutely lovely. This beautiful pendant would look marvelous on a simple gold chain and would make a gorgeous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 1 3/4" long, is 7/8" at the widest point and is 1/4” at its deepest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and all of the pearls, diamond and turquoise are intact.
