Victorian Sterling Horseshoe & Riding Crop Pendant
A charming horseshoe pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This wonderful piece is made of sterling silver and depicts a 3-dimensional horseshoe with a riding crop in the center. The horseshoe is detailed with 7 rose gold applied nails (always 7 for good luck!) on the sides, which adds to the depth of the piece. The riding crop is set across the middle of the horseshoe and the handle wraps around one side, creating a visually interesting design. The head of the riding crop is also topped in rose gold, complimenting the nails beautifully. The pendant is attached to a simple sterling bail, which makes it easy to attach to any chain. This is a fun piece and is a must for any horse lover!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 1 1/4" long, measures 1 1/8" at the widest point and 1/4" thick at the deepest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver or rose gold accents and the bail is secure and intact.
