A wonderful and nostalgic miniature photo album souvenir charm from the late Victorian (ca1900) era! This rectangular shaped piece is crafted in yellow gold-fill, and opens on one side to reveal 6 original and genuine miniature photographs taken in the romantic city of Paris, France. Each sepia colored glossy picture depicts a famous Parisian landmark, with the title of the place written in a lovely script near the top of the image. The pictures are attached to the inside of the charm and to each other, and fold up in an accordion-like style, when the charm is fastened shut. The surface of the charm displays a subtle matte finish, and the phrase "Souvenir de Paris 1900" is engraved across the front and back surface in a lovely flowing script. A delicate dotted border embellishes the perimeter, finishing the wonderful design. The charm hangs beautifully at an angle, thanks to a simple round bail that rests at the corner. A special keepsake piece, it would make a wonderful gift for any Francophile!

Measurements:  The charm measures slightly more than 7/8" wide, approximately 5/8" tall, and is a little less than 1/4" thick. When worn, the pendant hangs approximately 1 1/8" long at a diagonal slant.

Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold-filled setting. The genuine photographs are intact and show some slight fading given the age of the piece, however, each one still beautifully showcases their original landmark. The pendant opens and fastens securely shut and the bail is secure and in good working condition.
