A beautiful pin/pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely pave set seed pearl piece is made of 14kt yellow gold and portrays the shape of a small puffy heart. The heart has a single old Mine Cut diamond resting in the center, which weighs approximately .05ct. The natural seed pearls have wonderful iridescent color which looks fantastic set within the rosy yellow gold. The pearls vary slightly in size and cover the entire surface of the front of the heart. At the top is a swing-down bail and on the back rests a secure pin clasp, making it possible to wear the piece as either as a pendant or a pin. This delicate and feminine piece would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The heart pendant hangs approximately 7/8" long, is 5/8" wide, and 1/4" at the thickest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the pin/pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and all of the pearls and diamond are intact. The pin clasp and bail are both secure and in good working condition.
