Late Art Deco 9kt/Sterling Moonstone + Sapphire Ring
A gorgeous sapphire and moonstone ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! This 9kt rose gold ring adorns sterling silver accents and displays a stunning oval moonstone cabochon at the center of a sleek mounting. The polished moonstone is very alluring, exhibiting a pale blue color and strong iridescent flash. Framing the stone at either side is a graduated row of vibrant sapphires, exhibiting beautiful shades of light and cornflower blue hues. All of the stones rest in a raised sterling prong setting, creating a wonderful two-tone appeal from every side. A smoothly polished band graduates slightly from back to front, and two delicate round cutouts embellish either side and the center of the mounting, finishing the beautiful design. The gorgeous sapphires pair perfectly next to the alluring moonstone, creating a fabulous statement ring when worn, perfect for day or night!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7.5 but could easily be resized. The centerpiece measures 5/8" long and wide, and rests slightly less than 1/2" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal service wear, there is no apparent damage to the rose gold and sterling silver setting. The moonstone and sapphires are intact and securely set.
