Late Victorian 14kt Gold Bloodstone Agate Seal Ring
A wonderful bloodstone ring from the late Victorian (ca1900s) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, this lovely piece has a simple and attractive unisex design that frames a bloodstone agate seal at the center. The bloodstone is bezel set and smoothly polished, displaying a deep forest green color accented by natural deep orange flecks. The gold band adorns a deep, ridged motif at the shoulders, tapering as it nears the back of the ring. Stamped on the inside of the shank is "14" next to a small maker's mark. A simple yet stylish piece, it has a versatile look, perfect for everyday wear!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 8, but could be resized. The bloodstone center, including the bezel frame, measures approximately 1/2" tall and 3/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold setting or to the bloodstone seal, which is intact and secure.
