Late Art Deco 14kt Filigree Peridot Ring
An absolutely stunning peridot ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! This beautiful piece is crafted in 14kt white gold and adorns a vivid peridot resting at the center of a decorative filigree mounting. The prong-set stone is slightly raised and beautifully faceted into a European cut, exhibiting an intense shade of bright green. Decorating the domed setting is fine filigree wirework details, delicate beadwork, and engraved accents which together, create delicate cutouts throughout. Finishing the design is a smoothly polished band at the back, and inside of the shank is a "14K" gold purity mark beside a maker's mark, and "USA." When worn, the ring has a bold profile and makes quite a statement piece! A perfect pop of color, this gemstone ring would make a special addition to any Art Deco jewelry collection.
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.75 but, could easily be re-sized. The centerpiece rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn. The band measures 1.5mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold filigree setting. The peridot is intact and securely set.
