Art Deco 9kt/14kt Diamond + Turquoise Teardrop Earrings
Lovely diamond and turquoise earrings from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Each earring begins with a modern glittering diamond within a 14kt yellow gold bezel topper which attaches to a strand of fine 9kt yellow gold chain. The chain dangles an elongated teardrop-shaped turquoise stone, which is smoothly polished and displays a spectacular robin's egg blue color. The rich yellow gold contrasts beautifully against the diamond's bright sparkle and the turquoise's vibrant hue and a simple earring wire secures the pair to the ears. The earrings frame the face beautifully with their lovely movement and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs just under 2" long including the earring wire. The turquoise drop measures about 1/2" long and is about 1/4" at its widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The diamonds and turquoise stones are all intact and securely set.
