Art Deco Sterling Onyx Coral + Marcasite Ring
A fabulous onyx, coral and marcasite ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this bold piece has a unique, geometric design which perfectly reflects the Deco era. At its center is a rectangular coral stone which is bezel set and framed on either side by two, large onyx stones in a prong setting. The rich black stones are triangular in shape and have faceted edges which catch the light beautifully with every turn. At the top and bottom of the coral, as well as on both sides are several hand-set marcasite stones which add a subtle sparkle to the bold design and a simple silver band completes the piece. The ring has a simply marvelous look and would compliment any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.75 but could be easily resized. The geometric design in the center measures slightly more than 3/4" tall and measures approximately 7/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting or to the onyx, coral or marcasite stones, all of which are secure and intact.
