Victorian Petite 14kt Emerald, Ruby + Diamond Cluster Contrast Stud Earrings
A beautiful and unique pair of late Victorian (ca1900) era gemstone earrings! These dazzling earrings, which are petite in size, are crafted in 14kt rosy yellow gold and feature a gorgeous cluster of faceted gemstones along the front surface. One earring adorns a beautiful ruby stone at the center, surrounded by a border of old Rose Cut diamonds, while the other features the contrast design of an emerald stone encircled by a halo of diamonds. The color contrast is very striking and the subtle difference in the earrings creates an unique and eye-catching design. All of the stones are prong set and a scalloped wirework design can be seen from the sides, beautifully finishing the look. Found on the back of each is a gold post and earring back, allowing them to securely rest on the earlobe. A fabulous pair of cluster earrings, they would make a colorful addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each earring has a diameter of approximately 1/4" and is a little less than 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting and the posts and backs are secure and in good working order. The gemstones are intact and securely set.
