Retro 14kt Opal + Diamond Link Bracelet
A wonderful opal and diamond bracelet from the Retro (ca1940s) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, this fantastic piece is comprised of two rows of vibrant opal cabochons which carry around the entire length, creating a straight but flexible design. The opals are oval in shape and prong set, each displaying a colorful array of glowing hues and strong iridescent flashes. Set between the opals, running along the center of the bracelet, are prong set accent diamonds that have a total overall weight of approximately 0.30ctw. The bracelet is secured with a discrete push clasp which is incorporated into the design and two safety latches add extra security to the piece. This bracelet would look beautiful worn during the day or at night and would be a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The bracelet measures 7.5" in total length, is 3/8" wide and 3/16" deep. Each opal cabochon measures approximately 5mm by 6mm and is 2mm deep.
Condition: The bracelet is in very good vintage condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or the diamonds and the push clasp and safety latches are secure and in good working condition. There are a couple of very minor chips and slight abrasion to some of the opals, none of which is noticeable when worn.
