$1,995 $2,995

A fantastic enameled watch pin from the Victorian (ca1880) era! The piece, which is made of 18kt yellow gold, features a lovely pin with a diamond encrusted horseshoe and riding crop. The back of the pin is stamped with what appears to be "B.S. 85". The diamonds on the pin are set within a platinum topped setting and hanging from the bottom of the riding crop pin are 2 gold rings which connect to the solid gold watch. Also made of 18kt yellow gold, the front of the watch has the enameled image of a riding jockey resting at the base of a horseshoe. Inlaid within the body of the jockey is blue, red, and white enameling. The clock is revealed underneath the face of the locket. It has a white porcelain face, beautiful and ornate hands and winds at the top. The back opens to reveal "K 18", the numbers "54653", along with the fancy engraving "Geneve Cylindre 10/rubis No.54653". "K 18" can also be found stamped on the underside of the front face of the locket. The watch is fully functional but must be wound on a regular basis. It's a magnificent pocket watch pin and would make a lovely addition to any collection!

Measurement: This watch pin piece hangs approximately 2" long. The watch measures 1" long, 1" wide, and a little more than 1/4" thick. The riding crop pin is slightly more than 2" wide.

Condition: The overall condition of the watch pin is great. There is some normal surface wear to the gold locket and only very minor damage to the enameling which is not noticeable when worn. Watches of this era should be cleaned and oiled periodically and at this time, the watch is in fine working order and keeping good time. The pin clasp is secure and in good working condition and all the diamonds are intact.
