Late Art Deco Silver Carved Jade Plaque Stud Earrings
A beautiful pair jade earrings from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Most likely of Chinese origin, each stud is crafted in silver and features a gorgeous hand-carved jade plaque resting at the center. The round plaque displays a gorgeous floral cutout design, exhibiting varying shades of vibrant green and milky white hues. The jade is prong set and resting at the back is a simple post and earring back, securely attaching each stud to the ear. The earrings frame the face beautifully, and make a fabulous statement piece when worn. Stunning day or night, these lovely earrings would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each earring measures approximately 5/8" in diameter and is about 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting. The carved jade plaques are intact, securely set, and free of chips or scratches. The posts and earring backs are secure and in good working order.
