Late Victorian Silver Topped 14kt Pearl & Diamond Studs
A lovely pair of pearl and diamond stud earrings from the Late Victorian (ca1900) era! Made of silver topped 14kt yellow gold, each earring is comprised of a natural pearl surrounded by a delicate diamond halo border. The natural pearls have a wonderful luster, and the single cut diamonds add a beautiful sparkle! On the back of each earring is a yellow gold post, and a small hidden hook that could be used to hang a complimentary dangling element if desired. Both simple and feminine, these Victorian earrings are ideal for everyday wear and would make a perfect addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The earring tops have a 3/8" diameter and are 5/16" at the thickest point. The pearls measure approximately 6mm each.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver topped gold setting or to the pearls and diamonds, all of which are intact. The posts are secure and in good condition.
