Arts & Crafts Era Sterling & Natural Coral Bracelet

SKU: 40593

$1,895
A beautiful natural coral bracelet from the Arts & Crafts era (ca1900s)! This wonderful piece consists of 5 artistic panel links, each crafted in sterling silver. Set within each link are multiple coral cabochons, which rest in closed-back bezels. The coral displays a rich, vivid salmon color that is naturally occurring and un-dyed. Surrounding the cabochons are decorative filigree borders, adorned with delicate silver beadwork accents. The underside of the piece displays a lovely filigree backing, which was common among Austro-Hungarian jewelry of this era. Delicate loop connectors give flexibility to the design, and a secure push clasp is disguised within the final link. Stamped on the tongue of the clasp is a "STERLING" mark. A beautiful antique statement piece, it is perfect for the coral lover's collection!

Measurements: The bracelet measures 7 1/2" long, and would fit nicely on a medium to large sized wrist. The largest center panel link measures 2" long and 1 1/4" wide. The outer links measure 1 1/4" long and wide.

Condition: The bracelet is in good antique condition. There is some normal surface wear to the sterling setting, and some areas that show slight discoloration of the metal. However, it does not detract from the overall beauty or character of the antique design. All of the natural coral cabochons are intact and securely sest. The panel links are securely attached, and the push clasp is in good working condition. There is a natural patina that give the the surface of the silver a darkened look, which is a normal characteristic of antique jewelry.
