Art Deco Platinum "Multi-Step" Diamond Ring 0.30ct

SKU: 39780

$1,895

A stunning diamond ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of platinum, the ring has a gorgeous "multi-step" mounting encrusted with sparkling diamonds. Resting at the center is a raised 0.30ct old European Cut diamond, surrounded by the diamond "steps" that form the centerpiece. The central diamond has estimated I color and SI2 clarity, and is held within an elevated square prong setting. Covering the remainder of the centerpiece are 14 sparkling accent diamonds, which are Single Cut stones weighing approximately .16ctw combined. Fine milgrain details surround the stones, and a smooth band in the back completes the lovely design. Inside the shank is a "5% IRID. PLAT" stamp, and an engraved inscription that reads "F. STORD." A timeless and classic beauty, this vintage ring could make a very special engagement piece!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6, but could be easily re-sized up or down. When worn, the center of the ring rests approximately 3/16" above the finger. The tapered band measures about 1mm wide at the back.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set.
