Late Art Deco 14kt Amethyst Diamond Cluster Earrings
A gorgeous pair of amethyst and diamond studs from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Each earring is crafted in 14kt white gold, and has a beautiful gemstone cluster design. The amethysts rest at the center, displaying a vivid shade of rich violet. Surrounding the amethysts are a halo border comprised of delicate Single Cut diamonds which collectively have an overall total weight of 1.10ctw between the two earrings. Additionally, each amethyst weighs approximately 1.30ct with a combined total approximate weight of 2.60ctw. All of the stones are prong set and beautifully faceted, delivering a spectacular light-catching sparkle! On the back of each stud is a simple white gold post and earring back (stamped "18K"). These wonderful earrings are bright and lively in person, and would look lovely worn day or night!
Measurements: The studs measure slightly less than 1/2" in diameter and measures 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting and the amethysts and diamonds are intact and securely set.
