$1,795

Fabulous smoky topaz earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! These stunning earrings, which are fairly large in size, are comprised of two smoky topaz links which connect to each other by sterling silver findings. The topaz toppers are round in shape and have a surface which is completely faceted, catching the light beautifully when worn. The larger, bottom links are teardrop in shape and have a faceted, convex back, smooth front and faceted edges. Riveted into the center of the teardrop plaque is a lovely beetle hand carved from a single smoky topaz stone. The bug has 6 bent legs and antennae made of sterling silver and a fine carved body and wings. Riveted into the top of each surmount is a sterling silver earring wire. The earrings have a wonderful 3-dimensional look with lovely detail throughout and the bold smoky topaz has a deep, rich color. They are simply lovely and would make a perfect addition to any collection!

Measurement: The earrings hang approximately 2 1/4" long, are 1/2" at the widest point and have a depth of 1/2".

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the smoky topaz stones or to the sterling silver findings. There are a couple very minor chips on the back of one of the earrings, however, neither are noticeable when the earrings are worn.
