Victorian Dramatic Snake Agate Teardrop Earrings
Absolutely stunning agate drop earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Each earring begins with a curled snake topper which has a single turquoise stone set at its head. Dangling from the slithering surmount is a long teardrop shaped agate stone. The agate is slightly translucent with fabulous earthy hues of white, carmel and brown. The top of each teardrop is capped with a small scalloped 14kt gold topper which completes the design perfectly. These stunning earrings are in beautiful condition and would look stunning when worn!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 4 1/4" long, and measures slightly less than 1/2” wide and thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or agate stones and both turquoise stones are intact.
