Victorian Sterling Sterling Bloodstone & Agate Bracelet

SKU: 38612

$1,395

A stunning agate bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! The piece is made of sterling silver and has a wonderful curved centerpiece set with multiple agate stones. The earthy colors of the bloodstone and agates compliment each other perfectly, including deep forest green flecked with rust orange, and rich terra cotta red. All of the stones are raised above the surface, forming a pattern of chevrons and a criss-cross at the center. Beautiful etched detail decorates the shoulders of the bracelet and the spaces in between the stones, providing further depth and texture. The bracelet in hinged and fastens at a push clasp at the side, which is disguised within the design. A very unusual piece, it has a fantastic appearance and would make a unique addition to any collection!

Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 1/8" wide and 2" tall. It would fit nicely on an average/medium sized wrist. The curved centerpiece of the bracelet measures 1" wide, and the back measures 1/2" wide.

Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. There is only minimal surface wear to the interior of the sterling setting, which is normal for a pre-owned Victorian era piece. All of the agate stones are intact and free of any significant chips or scratches. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
