Vintage 18kt Sculptural Egyptian Revival Style Ring
A fabulous Vintage Egyptian revival-style ring from the 1970s era! Crafted in 18kt yellow gold, this bold piece is particularly large in size and look and has a spectacular sculptural design, depicting a strong Egyptian face. The 3-dimensional image has long straight hair, finely detailed facial features and an ornate headdress rests at her crown. The shoulders of the ring are formed by a wide band which graduates slightly towards the back. Identical raised images grace each shoulder, complimenting the Egyptian style and further enhancing the artistic beauty of the piece. The shank of the ring is stamped "18K" and "GN" and hand carved into the back of the face are the letters "GN" and "9C." This magnificent piece has an incredible look and craftsmanship in the Egyptian revival style. It would be perfect for any collector and would certainly make a very impressive addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.5, but could be re-sized slightly. The face centerpiece measures a little more than 3/4" tall and approximately 3/4" wide. The band measures 3/8" wide at the back and the overall weight of the ring is 19.4 grams.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting.
