Vintage Platinum & Emerald Cut Diamond Ring 0.42ct
An outstanding Vintage diamond engagement ring from the 1950's! This beautiful ring is made of platinum and holds a gorgeous Emerald Cut diamond at the center. The diamond, which is prong set, has J color and VS2 clarity and weighs approximately 0.42ct. Resting at the shoulders of the ring are two sparkling baguette cut diamonds which have H-I range color, VS clarity and a total weight of approximately 0.07ct. Stamped inside the ring is "PLATINUM" and "14K" (although the ring is stamped 14K, the metal content itself tests as platinum). The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA graduate gemologist in November 2013 and has a stated retail replacement value of $3,200.00. It's an absolutely stunning ring with a wonderful look and it would make an exquisite engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 8 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum and all of the diamonds are intact.
