Art Deco 14kt Moonstone & Enamel Hearts Filigree Ring
A fun and unusual filigree ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This unique ring is made of 14kt white gold, and has a charming hearts motif. At the center of the mounting is a moonstone cabochon held within an open-backed setting. The alluring moonstone is very clear, displaying a soft blue color that flashes in the light. Surrounding the moonstone is an enameled border, which includes black bars and a white heart in each of the four corners. Intricate filigree wirework is visible along the sides of the mounting, extending onto the engraved shoulders of the band. When worn, this whimsical Art Deco ring makes quite a unique statement piece!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6.5, but could easily be resized. The moonstone and enamel centerpiece measures 3/4" tall, 5/8" wide, and rests about 1/2" high. The tapered band measures 2mm wide in the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the 14kt white gold setting. The moonstone is intact and securely set, and the enameled motif is free of chips or scratches.
