Art Deco 14kt Natural No-Heat Ceylon Yellow Sapphire Diamond Cluster Ring 5.65ct center
An exquisite yellow sapphire ring from the Art Deco (ca1930s) era! This outstanding ring is crafted in 14kt gold, and displays a magnificent natural yellow sapphire surrounded by a diamond border. The Ceylon (Sri Lankan) sapphire weighs 5.65ct, and is beautifully faceted into a Cushion Modified Brilliant Cut. Naturally stunning, the sapphire is a no-heat stone, displaying a luscious shade of vibrant lemon-yellow. Surrounding the central stone are 14 round brilliant diamonds, forming a sparkling halo. The diamonds weigh approximately 2.25ctw, and are near colorless, with estimated H-I range color and VS-SI range clarity. Accompanying the yellow sapphire is a GIA Gemological Sapphire Origin Report issued by GIA (Gemological Insistutue of America) in June 2017, which confirms the stone's stated characteristics. A truly magnificent ring, it is positively breathtaking in person, and would look incredible worn on special occasions!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6, but could easily be resized if desired. The oval-shaped yellow sapphire and diamond centerpiece measures approximately 3/4" tall, 1/2" wide, and rests about 1/4" above the finger when worn. The tapered gold band measures 2mm wide at the back. The dimensions of the yellow sapphire are as follows: 11.84 x 9.02 x 6.61 mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The yellow sapphire and diamonds are intact, securely set, and free of chips or scratches.
