Art Deco 18kt Carved Rock Crystal, Onyx & Diamond Cufflinks
These lovely double-sided cufflinks from the Art Deco (ca1920) era are quite striking! Each cufflink face is square in shape, and boasts a bold black and white design. Resting at the center is a sparkling mine cut diamond, which is held in a milgrained bezel setting, and surrounded by an onyx border. A frosted rock quartz crystal plaque comprises the center, complete with hand-carved rays that fan out from the center. Completing the design is a black onyx border, which is forms the shape of a soft square. The reverse side of each onyx plaque reveals a white gold attachment, which is stamped "18CT." A yellow gold connector fastens the links together, and can be pressed on one side to open the attachment and slide the links off. A stunning pair of Art Deco cufflinks, they would look equally nice worn by a woman or man!
Measurements: Each cufflink face measures 1/2" wide and 1/4" thick. The space in between each cufflink measures 1" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The onyx and rock quartz crystal plaques are free of chips or scratches. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set. The gold cufflink connectors are secure and in good working condition.
