Art Deco Glass Faux Onyx & Jade Necklace
A gorgeous faux jade and onyx necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! This wonderful piece has a beautiful design that uses colored glass to create the appearance of vibrant jade and onyx. With silver findings, the necklace is comprised of alternating black and green links which combine to form a classic Deco look. The piece hangs long and a beaded extension gives it a dramatic, bold design. The rich color of the glass links are beautiful and the necklace very closely resembles the real stones. It fastens at a simple spring clasp in the back. A simply wonderful Art Deco necklace, it looks marvelous when worn and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The necklace measures 30" in total length, with the extension hanging 2 1/4" long at the center. Each elongated black link measures 7/8" long. The larger faux jade rings have a 1" outer diameter, and the smaller rings have a 5/8" outer diameter. The largest central bead measures 16mm in size, and the smallest measures 12mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the glass links and the clasp is secure and in good working condition.
