Art Deco Platinum Diamond Drop Earrings 2.50ctw
Exquisite diamond earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Crafted in platinum, these elegant earrings feature dangling links that hang below complimentary surmounts. Each elongated link is lined with 5 sparkling old Mine cut diamonds, which are individually bezel set, forming a vertical row. A delicate airline cutout surrounds each bezel, almost giving the impression that the diamonds "float" within their square-shaped frames. A variety of embellishments add to the beautiful design, including delicate rose cut diamonds, fine milgrain detail, and a flowing etched motif along the edges. The surmounts have a complimentary diamond design, hanging from simple platinum wires at the top. Collectively, the diamonds have an approximate weight of 2.50ctw, with estimated H-I range color and VS range clarity. When worn, the earrings frame the face beautifully, dangling with lovely movement and sparkling as they catch the light. A wonderful example of the Art Deco aesthetic, they would look stunning worn on special occasions!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 7/8" long (including the wires), is 3/16" wide, and 1/8” thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the diamonds are secure and intact. The earrings wires are secure and in excellent condition.
