Art Deco Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 3.63ct
An outstanding diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1930) era! Crafted in platinum, the ring frames a magnificent 3.63ct old European Cut diamond at the center, held within a secure 4-prong setting. The center diamond has L color and VS2 clarity. Decorating the shoulders of the mounting are 4 additional diamonds, each surrounded by a delicately milgrained bezel. Completing the elegant design is a smooth, tapered band stamped "10% IRID" and "PLATINUM" inside the shank, beside a small hallmark. The ring comes with an appraisal by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist. This Art Deco diamond ring is positively breathtaking in person, and makes quite a statement when worn! A timeless and classic beauty, it would make an exquisite vintage engagement piece!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6, but could be easily re-sized. When worn, the center of the ring rests approximately 1/4" above the finger. The tapered band measures about 2mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set.
