Art Deco Platinum Emerald Cut Diamond Engagement Ring .87ct
An enchanting diamond engagement ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! This stunning ring is made of platinum and holds a gorgeous .87ct Emerald Cut diamond at the center. The diamond has J color and SI2 clarity and is prong set in a double wire box centerpiece. Lining the shoulders of the ring are four sparkling single cut diamonds, which are bead set and have H-I range color, VS range clarity, and an approximate total weight of 0.15ctw. A smooth platinum band with an airline at the top completes the stylish and feminine design. Two small initials are stamped inside the shank, which appear to read "SB." The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified gemologist in December 2015 and has a stated retail replacement value of $3,200.00. It looks breathtaking when worn and would make a gorgeous engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7 but could easily be resized up or down as desired. The center diamond rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact and secure in their setting.
