Art Deco Sterling Carnelian Filigree Bangle Bracelet
A beautiful carnelian bracelet from the Art Deco (ca1920s) period! This wonderful sterling silver bangle features a row of carnelian stones that line the front surface. The richly colored carnelian stones are offset by a line of sparkling studs in between, which add a lovely sparkle. Decorating the back of the bracelet is a feminine filigree wirework pattern, complete with lacy cutouts and fine milgrain detail. An engraved floral motif lines the edges of the bracelet, a beautiful finishing touch. The bracelet clasps at the side and is marked "STERLING" inside. It makes a beautiful vintage accessory and is perfect for everyday wear!
Measurement: The inside opening (where your wrist would rest) measures 2 3/8" wide and 2 1/8" tall. It would fit nicely on a medium/average sized wrist. The surface of the bracelet measures 3/8" wide and 3/16" thick.
Condition: The bracelet is in very good vintage condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or to the carnelian stones, which are intact and free of chips or scratches. There is some minor damage to the filigree pattern where the two ends of the clasps meet, but it is not noticeable when worn.
