A fantastic turquoise and marcasite bracelet from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This unusual piece is crafted in sterling silver and has a captivating and feminine design. At the center of the bracelet are 7 bezel set cabochon turquoise stones, displaying various shades of blue and green. The turquoise stones are surrounded by a flowing filigree motif topped with marcasite stones. The back of the bracelet also features a filigree pattern with a complimentary etched design. The bracelet fastens with a push clasp at the side, and there is a safety clasp for added security. A very striking Art Deco bracelet, it is a substantial statement piece and would be a unique addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 3/8" wide and 2 1/8" tall. It would fit nicely on a medium/average sized wrist. The front of the bracelet measures 1 1/4" wide, and the tapered back measures 1/2" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting. The push and safety clasps fasten securely and are in good working condition. The turquoise and marcasite stones are intact and securely set.
