Edwardian 18kt Platinum Marquise Diamond Ring 0.65ct

SKU: 41477

$3,895
A gorgeous mixed metals diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! The platinum centerpiece features a sparkling marquise diamond surrounded by a beautiful diamond border. The center diamond weighs 0.65ct, displaying G color and VS2 clarity. It rests within a lightly milgrained bezel, sparkling brilliantly as it catches the light! Surrounding the marquise is a navette-shaped border of twinkling Rose Cut diamonds, which are bead set in platinum. A fine airline cutout gives the impression that the marquise diamond "floats" at the center, a subtle but elegant detail. Resting on either shoulder is a delicate accent diamond, the perfect finishing touch! A smooth 18kt gold band wraps around the back, and a filigree pattern is visible below the centerpiece, completing the beautiful mixed metals design. The ring was appraised in May, 2021 by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist, and has a stated retail replacement value of $6,000.00. A positively breathtaking Edwardian piece, it could make a stunning engagement ring, or be worn mark a special occasion!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.25 but could be easily re-sized. The navette centerpiece measures about 1/2" long, slightly more than 1/4 wide, and rests 1/8" above the finger when worn. The band measures approximately 2mm wide at the back.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the mixed metals platinum and gold setting. All of the diamonds are secure and intact.
