Edwardian Petite Platinum Diamond & Sapphire Pendant
A beautiful pendant from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This petite piece is crafted in platinum, and features a stunning gemstone-encrusted design. Resting at the center is a bezel set Mine Cut diamond, which weighs approximately .25ct, with estimated G color and VS clarity. Additional accent diamonds cover the pendant's surface in a delicate pavé setting. Four rows of calibré French Cut sapphires form a criss cross design across the front, adding a wonderful pop of deep blue color! The sapphires are channel set within tapered triangular bezels, meeting at the central diamond. Attached to the top of the piece is a delicate bail lined with diamonds, perfect for hanging the pendant from a favorite chain. A fine airline cutout and delicate milgrain detail complete the wonderful craftsmanship. This eye-catching piece would look gorgeous worn everyday or on special occasions!
Measurements: The piece hangs approximately 7/8" long (including the bail at the top) and measures 1/2" in size.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. All of the diamonds and sapphires stones are intact and securely set. The bail is securely attached at the top.
