Edwardian Platinum Rose Cut Diamond Filigree Ring 1.00ctw
A magnificent diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This stunning platinum piece, features an elegant filigree setting with an elongated centerpiece that is slightly convex, curving nicely around the finger. Three sparkling Rose Cut diamonds are bezel set along the center of the ring, creating a vertical row. Ten additional Rose Cut diamonds decorate the mounting and shoulders, providing further light catching effects. Collectively, the diamonds weigh approximately 1.00ctw. The elaborate design features fine milgrain detail and shapely cutouts are found throughout, creating an incredible lacy appearance. Completing the look is a smoothly polished band at the back. This outstanding statement piece would look beautiful worn on special occasions, or it could make an incredible engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.75 but it could be re-sized. The elongated plaque centerpiece measures approximately 5/8" tall and wide. The band measures 2mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or filigree detail, and all of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
