Late Art Deco Silver & Rock Quartz Crystal Teardrop Earrings
A gorgeous pair of rock quartz crystal earrings from the Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Each earring is set in silver, and dangles a teardrop briolette link at the base. The faceted rock quartz crystal drops hang freely below a complimentary crystal surmount. Completing the design is a simple earring wire attached at the top. When worn, the earrings frame the face beautifully and dangle with lovely movement. The faceted crystal links give a wonderful light-catching quality to the design, sparkling with every turn! Both classic and versatile, these stunning earrings could be worn day or night. They would make a stunning addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs 1 3/4" long (including the wire tops). The teardrop links at the base measure 3/4" tall, 1/2" wide, and 3/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting, or to any of the rock quartz crystal links. The earring wires are secure and in good condition. There is a natural patina on the surface of the silver setting, which is a normal characteristic of vintage jewelry. However, the silver can be polished if a brighter look is desired.
