Victorian 14kt Rock Quartz Crystal Etruscan Ball Earrings
A beautiful pair of Etruscan earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Made of vibrant 14kt yellow gold, the earrings have a delicate 3-dimensional ball design. Sandwiched in the center is a rock quartz crystal disc, which has a faceted edge and catches the light beautifully in movement. Hugging therock quartz crystal discs are two gold caps, each adorned with a very fine Etruscan wirework pattern. Delicate raised swirls and milgrain detail cover the surface, adding soft and lovely texture. The earrings hang from simple 14kt gold wires and rest just below the ear when worn. Delicate and beautiful, they display wonderful artistry and would make a perfect everyday addition to any collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang 3/4" long (including the wires) and have a 3/8" diameter.
Conditions: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, Etruscan detail, or rock quartz crystal discs. The gold wires are both secure and intact.
