Victorian 14kt Seed Pearl Diamond Sunburst Pin/Pendant
A wonderful sunburst pin/pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! The 14kt gold design forms the shape of a beautiful sunburst, with 12 curvy rays that fan outwards from the center. The entire surface of the piece is adorned with natural seed pearls, which line each of the sun's rays in a fine pavé setting. A sparkling accent diamond rests at the very center, micro prong set within the surface. A hidden swinging bail and pin clasp can be found on the back, allowing the piece to be worn either as a pin or a pendant. Stamped on the back of the bar pin clasp is "14K." Both feminine and beautiful, this charming sunburst pendant would make a special addition to any antique collection!
Measurements: The piece has a 1 1/8" diameter and is concave in shape, measuring about 3/8" at the deepest point.
Condition: The overall condition of this piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The accent diamond and all of the natural seed pearls are intact. The hidden swinging bail and pin clasp are secure and in good working condition.
