Victorian 14kt/Sterling Diamond Cluster Ring .40ctw
A stunning diamond cluster ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful mixed metals ring is made of 14kt gold with a sterling silver top, creating a lovely two-tone appearance. A border of 8 mine cut diamonds surround a .25ct old European cut diamond at the center, forming a sparkling cluster. The diamonds comprising the halo weigh approximately .40ctw combined, and have I range color and VS2 range clarity. The outer stones are bezel set in sterling, while the center stone rests in a raised gold prong setting above the border. Completing the design is a smooth band that tapers in at the shoulders. A very special antique piece, this radiant diamond cluster ring could make a unique engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.25, but it could be re-sized up or down. The diamond cluster centerpiece has a 3/8" diameter, and rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and sterling setting, and all of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
