Victorian 10kt Pavé Persian Turquoise Starburst Pin/Pendant
A gorgeous turquoise starburst from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful piece is crafted in vibrant 10kt gold and has a convertible pin and pendant design. The stunning 12-point star design is convex in shape, and is encrusted with natural Persian turquoise stones in a fine pavé setting. The turquoise is incredibly vibrant, exhibiting a breathtaking shade of sky blue that looks fantastic paired with the gold setting! On the back of the starburst is a hidden hook bail, making it possible to hang the piece from a chain. Also attached to the back is a detachable pin clasp, which can be easily unscrewed and removed if desired. Measurements: The pin/pendant measures 1 1/4" in diameter, and is approximately 3/8" at the deepest point of its convex shape.
Condition: The overall condition of the pin/pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The detachable pin clasp and hidden hook bail are secure and in good working condition. All of the pavé turquoise stones are intact, securely set, and free of chips or scratches. There is a natural untouched patina on the surface of the gold setting, which is a normal characteristic of antique jewelry.
