Victorian 18kt Diamond Engagement Ring 0.65ct
A beautiful diamond engagement ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! The classic solitaire design features a sparkling old Mine Cut diamond that is prong set within a smooth 18kt gold mounting. The diamond weighs approximately .65ct, with approximate H/I range color and SI1 range clarity. The stamp "18K" can be found inside the shank, which tapers in slightly as it nears the back. If requested, a complimentary appraisal issued by an independent and accredited GIA graduate gemologist can be completed after purchase for insurance purposes. A lovely and feminine Victorian design, it has timeless beauty and would make a very special engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 5, but could easily be re-sized up or down as desired. The diamond rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or diamond stone, which is intact and securely set. A subtle natural patina rests within the prong area, which is normal for antique jewelry and adds unique Victorian character.
