Victorian Petite 14kt Banded Agate Ring
A beautiful banded agate ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely and petite ring is made of 9kt gold (indicating English origin) and holds a wonderful banded agate stone at its center. The agate is smoothly polished into an oval shape, and rests within a closed-back bezel. It displays a rich, deep brown color banded with a stripe of white. Completing the design are pillar-style shoulders, which extend to a tapered band in the back. A naturally beautiful and versatile design, the ring merges seamlessly into modern day fashion. It's petite size would make it a perfect pinky ring for everyday wear!
Measurements: The ring has a small finger size of 3.25, but could be re-sized. The banded agate centerpiece measures approximately 3/8" tall and 3/16" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the banded agate stone, which is intact and securely set.
