Vintage Polish Large 14kt & Diamond "5 Złotych" Silver Coin Pendant
A wonderful vintage (ca1932) Polish coin conversion pendant! This unique pendant features a silver Polish coin as the centerpiece, which is now encased in a 14kt gold bezel. The face of the coin shows a woman in profile, whose headdress has been set with a row of 5 sparkling accent diamonds. The reverse side of the coin bears the words "RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA" (meaning "Polish State"), the date year "1932," and "5 ZŁOTYCH 5" (indicating the value of currency and type of the coin). The pendant hangs from a simple gold ring at the top, and would look lovely paired with a favorite gold chain. A very unique vintage conversion piece, it makes a perfect everyday accessory!
Measurements: The pendant hangs 1 3/8" long, including the ring at the top. The coin inside its bezel frame has a 1 1/8" diameter and measures 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the coin itself. All of the accent diamonds remain intact, and the ring for hanging the piece is securely soldered shut.
