The wonderful agate stone, which has a convex face, is incredibly large and has exquisite color which includes rich burnt orange, rusty red, mustard yellow and creamy white. It rests in the center of a marvelous bezel setting which has a detailed twisted wirework border followed by a flat gold frame which is completed by an additional twisted wirework exterior. The piece hangs from a large fluted bail and would look fantastic worn hanging from a long gold chain. This large, eye catching piece has a fabulous look that would make a perfect addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The pendant hangs 3 7/8" long, is slightly less than 2" wide and approximately 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold-filled setting or to the agate stone, which is intact. There is some naturally occurring crazing within the agate stone, however, this is hardly noticeable and simply a characteristic of the stone. The bail is intact and in good condition.
