A gorgeous gemstone pendant from the Retro (ca1940s) era! Two vibrant blue zircons rest in matching 14kt gold circular settings, one resting just below the other. The lower circle is slightly larger, giving a subtle graduated effect to the design. The faceted stones have a double refraction, allowing them to catch and reflect the light beautifully when worn. Natural blue zircons are sometimes mistaken for blue diamonds, thanks to their lively appearance and vibrant sparkle. Completing the design are delicate beadwork accents, and a simple gold bail at the top, perfect for hanging the piece from a chain. This lovely pendant would look stunning worn day or night!
Measurements: The pendant hangs 1 1/4" long, including the bail. The smaller circle measures 1/2" in diameter, and the lower circle measures 5/8" in diameter.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. Both of the natural blue zircons are intact, securely set, and free of any visible chips or scratches. The gold bail at the top is securely attached.
