A lovely onyx pendant from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This petite piece is crafted in 10kt yellow gold and comprised of two onyx plaques and three natural pearls. Hanging from a simple gold bail, the pendant begins with an oval-shaped onyx disk which attaches to a second onyx link which is kite-shaped. Both rich, black plaques are set within a rose gold back and each has a small seed pearl bezel set in the center. Dangling from the bottom is a third natural pearl which is larger in size than the other two, perfectly completing the lovely design. The creamy white pearls have wonderful luster and look fabulous paired with the rich, black onyx. With a strong Deco look, the beautiful pendant would make a fun everyday accessory for any collector!
Measurements: The pendant hangs 1 1/2" long, is 1/2" wide and 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, including a few very fine chips along the edges of the onyx plaques, there is no serious damage to the gold setting, carved onyx, or pearls which are all secure and intact.
