Art Deco 14kt Amethyst & Diamond Filigree Necklace
A lovely filigree necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This beautiful pendant is made of 14kt white gold and has an intricate and feminine design. Covered in lacy filigree wirework, the pendant is detailed with fine milgrain accents and shapely cutouts. The diamonds are old European Cuts, weighing approximately .80ctw combined with H-I range color and SI1-SI2 range clarity. The pendant hangs from a contemporary 14kt white gold chain threaded through a ring at the top. Stamped on the clasp is "XL 14K." This elegant pendant would look beautiful worn on special occasions, or would make a gorgeous everyday piece!
Measurements: The pendant hangs 1 1/2" long (including the bail), and measures 3/4" wide. The chain measures approximately 17.5" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold filigree setting or chain, which fastens securely. All of the stones are intact and securely set.
