Art Deco 14kt Aquamarine Filigree Ring 3ct
A beautiful aquamarine ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Crafted in 14kt gold, the ring displays a stunning 3ct aquamarine stone at the center of a decorative mounting. The aquamarine is rectangular with clipped corners, and rests in an open backed bezel setting. It has a faceted front and back, and displays a wonderful clear, blue color. A lovely feminine filigree border surrounds the stone, complete with fine wirework and beadwork details. Completing the design is a simple gold band, which has a small plaque inside stamped "14K." A simply stunning ring, it would make a special addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.25, but could easily be re-sized. The centerpiece measures 9/16" tall, 7/16" wide, and rests about 1/4" high.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the filigree and beadwork details. The aquamarine stone is intact and securely set. It has very minor surface wear on the back, which is not noticeable when worn, and does not detract from the beauty of the design. A natural patina is present on the gold setting, which is a normal characteristic of vintage and antique jewelry.
